- check_circleMonitor track conditions and report on passing train conditions
- check_circleInterpret signals for train movement and judge or control speed and clearance distances
- check_circleOperate track switches and derails to change train routing and check alignment
- check_circleCoordinate train operations, scheduling, and dispatching using advanced technology
- check_circleInspect railcars per federal regulations and determine train make-up
- check_circleConnect and disconnect air hoses and replace broken railcar knuckles
- check_circleAdhere to safety rules, policies, and federal regulations in a safety-sensitive environment
- check_circleRespond to safety concerns and take appropriate action during emergencies
- check_circleObtain, receive, and act on oral and written information to monitor daily work
