About the Role
The Austin Equipment Yard has an outstanding opportunity for Concrete Pump Operators to support a large commercial project in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating truck-mounted concrete pumps ranging from 39 meters to 65 meters. You will work closely with jobsite supervisors, dispatch, batch plants, and concrete crews to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely placement of concrete.
Your day will involve setting up and positioning equipment with proper outrigger placement and stability checks, operating pump controls to maintain consistent flow and quality, and monitoring operations to address issues like blockages or pressure changes. You will also perform daily inspections, clean and flush pump systems after each pour, and maintain accurate logs of equipment operation and service needs. While placing boom experience is preferred, the ideal candidate will have a strong safety-driven mindset and the ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions.
