About the Team

The Louisiana Department of Insurance's Office of Insurance Fraud plays a critical role in protecting Louisiana consumers and the integrity of the insurance marketplace. This division is dedicated to investigating insurance fraud activities and supporting enforcement efforts that safeguard the state's financial ecosystem. As a State As a Model Employer (SAME), the department actively supports the recruitment, hiring, and retention of individuals with disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse talents can thrive.

About the Role

As a Compliance Investigations Administrator, you will step into a leadership position within the Office of Insurance Fraud. In this capacity, you will assist the Deputy Commissioner in directing and administering division operations, providing strategic leadership to investigative and administrative staff. Your day-to-day impact involves overseeing workflow, ensuring strict adherence to policies, and managing employee performance to drive effective fraud prevention. Beyond operational oversight, you will serve as a key voice in policy development, conducting legislative research to identify gaps in public policy and drafting proposed legislation and regulatory documents. You will also represent the department before legislative committees and collaborate with law enforcement agencies, industry representatives, and other stakeholders to address complex insurance fraud issues.
