Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc. is a network of high-performing public charter schools in New York City. We are committed to continuous improvement and shaping the future of education through an innovative, results-driven, and collaborative environment.
We are seeking a Competitive Math Coach to drive excellence in math instruction across our elementary schools. This role exists to push scholars to high levels of achievement by designing and leading advanced problem-solving sessions and preparing students for rigorous local and national competitions, such as Math Olympiad and AMC.
In this position, you will do more than teach; you will coach teachers on rigorous math pedagogy and model innovative strategies that integrate competition-level thinking into the core curriculum. You will analyze student data to refine instructional plans, develop practice sets and enrichment materials, and provide targeted small-group and one-on-one coaching for advanced scholars. Your work will extend beyond the classroom through the use of technology tools and the leadership of after-school and weekend math clubs and teams.
Candidates selected for this role will join a team dedicated to high academic standards. The interview process involves reviewing your background in competitive mathematics and elementary pedagogy, followed by discussions on your approach to data analysis and instructional coaching.
Success Academy is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
