We are seeking a Competitive Math Coach to drive excellence in math instruction across our elementary schools. This role exists to push scholars to high levels of achievement by designing and leading advanced problem-solving sessions and preparing students for rigorous math competitions. You will serve as a bridge between core curriculum and competition-level thinking, working alongside teachers and school leaders to embed these strategies into daily learning.
In this position, you will analyze student data to refine curriculum and model innovative teaching strategies. Your day will involve developing practice sets and problem banks, integrating technology tools to extend learning beyond the classroom, and leading after-school and weekend math clubs. You will also provide targeted coaching for advanced scholars and maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress and competition schedules.

Training or coursework in gifted education or advanced mathematics pedagogy. Familiarity with New York State learning standards and assessment practices.
