Serious Medicine is what we do. Being extraordinary is who we are. Every colleague plays a key role in upholding this promise to our patients and their families.
This is not a maintenance role—it's a build, evolve, and lead opportunity. As Manager of Compensation, you will take ownership of a large, complex compensation function at a pivotal moment, shaping strategy, structure, and programs that directly impact how we compete for and retain top talent. You'll partner closely with senior leaders to modernize and scale compensation practices, bringing both strategic vision and hands-on execution. We're looking for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, can prioritize across competing demands, and is energized by rolling up their sleeves to drive meaningful, enterprise-wide impact.
In your first 6–12 months, success will look like establishing credibility with key stakeholders, bringing structure and clarity to compensation programs and processes, and delivering measurable progress on priority initiatives. If you're energized by leading through change and delivering enterprise-wide impact, this is a unique opportunity to make your mark at Nebraska Medicine.
Join a team that values your skills, delivering exceptional care through collaboration. As part of the region's top academic health network, you will partner with UNMC to transform lives through education, research, and patient care. We value all backgrounds and experiences, reflecting the communities we serve. Additionally, we offer educational support including up to $5,000/year in tuition assistance, a 35% discount at Clarkson College, and career advancement opportunities with covered educational costs.
