About the Role

The Compensation & Retirement Analyst supports the administration and governance of MJHS's compensation and retirement programs. This role assists with annual compensation cycles, provides analytical and operational support for pay decisions, and ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal pay requirements.

In addition, the Analyst plays a key role in the daily administration of retirement programs, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and a high‑quality employee experience. Serving as a trusted resource to employees, this role provides guidance on retirement benefits and plan features, ensuring staff are informed about eligibility, contributions, distributions, and overall retirement readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleAssist with annual compensation cycles including merit increases, bonus programs, and equity processes
  • check_circleEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local pay regulations and internal compensation policies
  • check_circlePartner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and vendors to manage daily compensation operations and data accuracy
  • check_circleResearch market data and analyze compensation plans to ensure organizational competitiveness
  • check_circleSupport maintenance and updating of compensation models, salary structures, and pay ranges
  • check_circleSupport plan audits and maintain accountability for retirement plan compliance activities
  • check_circleAssist with annual retirement plan requirements including nondiscrimination testing and required filings
  • check_circleServe as a key point of contact for employees regarding retirement plan eligibility, contributions, and distributions
  • check_circleAdminister employee retirement programs by verifying information and preparing forms for plan administrator approval
  • check_circleMonitor administrative documents and reports to ensure compliance with ERISA and other plan requirements
  • check_circlePrepare and support recommendations for hiring offers, salary adjustments, promotions, and off-cycle compensation

Requirements
