Join the Big Island Habilitation Team at BAYADA, a provider celebrating 50 years of compassion, excellence, and reliability. Our mission is to empower individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) through compassionate, 1:1 support in the home and community. We are seeking recent graduates, Paraprofessionals, and those with personal caregiving experience to embody empathy and respect in every interaction.
As a Habilitation Technician, you will partner with clients to uplift and empower them through daily life. Your day will involve spending time on the client's favorite hobbies, assisting with meal preparation, and participating in community integration activities like errands and appointments. You will patiently teach, encourage, and celebrate small achievements, giving people the space to grow while providing personal care assistance as needed. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills with support from our on-staff nurses and managers.
BAYADA fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment of belonging. We are proud to be voted the #1 Non-Medical Home Care Provider by Star Advertiser Readers, a Forbes Top 10 Employer in Hawaii for three consecutive years, and a Forbes Best Employer for Veterans. Additionally, we have been recognized by Newsweek as a Greatest Workplace overall, for women, parents & families, and diversity.
With offices throughout Hawaii, we offer the opportunity to work locally, impact your community, and grow professionally. We match clients to caregivers based on skill and comfort level, ensuring a positive work environment with stable, around-the-clock clinical support.
We are currently seeking candidates for openings in Hilo, Keaau, Mt View, Pepeekeo, Ocean View, Hawi, Kailua-Kona, and Kealakekua. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates. To apply, please submit your application to join our caring team today. Paid training is provided for those without prior experience.
