The Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) program provides specialized, person-centered care for individuals experiencing both mental health and substance use disorders. Through a holistic, team-based approach, the program focuses on treating the whole person—not just symptoms—by integrating behavioral health and addiction services into a unified treatment plan.
As a Community Support Specialist on the ITCD team, you will walk alongside clients in their recovery journey, connecting them to resources, building skills, and promoting whole-person wellness in real-life settings. This role is designed for someone passionate about recovery-oriented, client-driven work who values holistic care that focuses on strength, resilience, and long-term stability.
You will serve as a bridge between clients and the complex systems they navigate, offering support that blends advocacy, coaching, and coordination. Whether accompanying clients to appointments, facilitating group services like early recovery or WRAP, or collaborating with medical and clinical providers, your work ensures that care is integrated and high-quality. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and continuous learning, motivated by making a tangible difference in clients' everyday lives.
Candidates must meet specific qualification criteria based on the position's CSS requirements. Eligibility includes being a qualified addiction professional, holding a relevant degree from an accredited institution, or possessing four years of qualifying experience in service delivery to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.
