The Community Service Technician is the backbone of our property's physical condition and appearance. This role goes beyond routine maintenance; it is about delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service to residents while ensuring the highest quality of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations that keep our communities safe, functional, and welcoming.
In this position, you will perform a variety of skilled trade tasks, including make-ready unit maintenance, appliance installation, and repairs for minor carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. You will also maintain common areas, grounds, and building systems, correcting or reporting any deficiencies to supervisors. Depending on the community's needs and your skills, you may be required to step into the duties of the Community Service Supervisor.
Your day will likely involve a mix of indoor and outdoor work. You might be framing and finishing walls, repairing sinks and toilets, or lubricating mechanical equipment. You will be exposed to the outdoor environment and may use power tools, requiring strict adherence to safety programs and proper lifting techniques. The role demands flexibility; you may be called upon to work overtime or on-call schedules, with a requirement to respond to calls within 15 minutes and arrive on the premises within 30 minutes.

Completion of in-house training within the first 90 days of employment is required to ensure you are fully equipped to meet these operational needs.
