About the Team
The Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute (MGBCI), Division of Hematology/Oncology is seeking a faculty-based medical oncologist/hematologist to join our community clinical care team at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover and Portsmouth, NH. This role bridges the gap between community practice and our main campus, offering strong oversight and connections to the MGBCI Hematology/Oncology Practice based in Boston.
The position is embedded in a robust clinical environment that includes onsite radiation oncology and surgery at Wentworth Douglass Hospital. The successful candidate will join a disease-specific multidisciplinary team, collaborating across both main campus and community facilities to deliver comprehensive care.
About the Role
This position emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered clinical care. The incumbent will be responsible for the record of success in treating hematology/oncology patients while actively involving patients and their families in the decision-making process. A key aspect of the role is coordinating care with colleagues across various departments and working collaboratively with leadership teams in both the community and Boston.
We are looking for a caring and compassionate physician who is motivated to build strong relationships within the community while maintaining the high standards of the Mass General Brigham network.
