Allegany Franciscan Ministries is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting a mission rooted in compassion, dignity, and person-centered care. As part of the broader Trinity Health system, we honor the unique perspectives and talents of every individual, striving to grow stronger by embracing our differences. Our work extends across Florida, serving diverse communities through strategic initiatives, community outreach, and collaborative partnerships.
The Director, Communications, Connections, and Outreach serves as a strategic leadership partner to the President & CEO and the staff team. This role is designed to amplify Allegany’s impact by driving comprehensive marketing, communications, and branding strategies that heighten visibility and awareness of our vision and programs.
As the organization's chief storyteller, you will craft compelling narratives that resonate with multiple audiences, from grant partners and elected officials to local community groups. You will oversee the digital media presence, ensuring our web and social platforms align with brand standards while maximizing engagement. Beyond digital channels, you will lead the coordination of community conversations, listening sessions, and convenings, fostering deep connections between Allegany and the communities we serve.
This position requires a dynamic leader who can navigate the intersection of internal alignment and external advocacy. You will manage vendor relationships, oversee event logistics for both in-person and virtual gatherings, and ensure that all communications adhere to our Language Justice Policy and accessibility standards. By leveraging technology and data, you will optimize our outreach efforts and drive organizational excellence.
Candidates selected for an interview will be invited to participate in a series of discussions to assess their strategic vision, leadership style, and fit within our collaborative culture. The process typically includes an initial screening, followed by in-depth interviews with key leadership stakeholders.
