The Communications Associate is an entry-level position designed to support the Communications Department in ensuring the most effective communication with our visitors and potential customers. This role serves as a vital link between the museum's internal teams and the public, managing the flow of information across various channels.
In this position, you will manage the museum's general email account and oversee the creation and placement of signage, brochures, and printed materials throughout the museum and public spaces. You will coordinate advertising campaigns, promote events and exhibits across all platforms, and assist in content creation for email, video, web, and graphics. The role involves close collaboration with graphic designers, media agencies, and other departments to ensure brand guidelines are met and projects are delivered on time.
You will work in a dynamic museum environment that includes frequent interaction with the public, children, and families. While the position is primarily sedentary, it may require occasional movement around the museum and assistance with event logistics. The role offers a blend of administrative project management and creative support, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the museum's mission of inspiring learners.
