About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to join our team as the Commercial Loan Operations Manager Reporting & Controls. This role serves as the front-line control for our loan portfolio, managing a team that handles varying levels of complexity in a high-volume environment.
In this position, you will ensure our processes meet compliance requirements with regulatory agencies while providing quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) sampling across our functions. You will partner closely with Loan Operations Teams, Internal Audit, and the Bank Compliance Team to manage critical programs including LARs for HMDA & CRA, Flood, UBOs for lending, and the SCRA program. Additionally, you will drive data flow needs and reporting for operations workflow and executive management, using data to identify opportunities for improvement and scalability within the Operations team.

- check_circleOversee daily workflow of Loan Operations Compliance and Quality Control teams
- check_circleManage identification, creation, and implementation of processes to ensure compliance
- check_circleDevelop performance statistics and monthly reports for management review
- check_circleMonitor loan system exception reports to ensure timely resolutions
- check_circleRepresent Loan Operations in management meetings regarding issues and enhancements
- check_circleServe as primary point of contact for internal audit and external regulatory parties
- check_circlePerform annual budgeting and monitor expenses against the approved budget
- check_circlePartner with IT resources to define system requirements and perform testing
- check_circleDevelop and monitor staffing models to ensure adequate skills and coverage
- check_circleIdentify training needs and measure the effectiveness of delivered programs
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 10 years banking experience
- verifiedMinimum 5 years commercial loan operations
- verifiedMinimum 5 years management experience
- verifiedCollege degree or equivalent experience
- verifiedKnowledge of REG B, REG E, SOX, HMDA, SCRA
- verifiedProficient with Microsoft Office
- verifiedExperience with commercial loan accounting applications
- verifiedAbility to work with 3rd party auditors and regulatory personnel
