This position is designed for those who want to combine their driving skills with a dynamic retail environment. You will drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts to commercial customers, ensuring safe and timely arrivals. Beyond driving, you will load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules and handle returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
You will serve as a key point of contact for both commercial accounts and DIY shoppers, delivering WOW! Customer Service by providing clear, professional automotive advice and offering installation services. Your role requires maintaining efficient delivery operations to meet time and accuracy goals while adhering to strict company policies. Additionally, you will process customer payments securely and stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems. Fleet maintenance is also part of your daily routine; you will maintain your delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
To join our team, you must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. We require basic knowledge of automotive parts and the physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. A flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime, is necessary to meet our operational needs. While a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required, a valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus for handling regulated materials safely.
