About the Role
Due to the upcoming retirement of our most senior technician, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Door & Dock Technician to step into a high-volume, highly respected role. This position offers a unique opportunity to take over an established route and manage high-level accounts from a retiring senior technician. - check_circleInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial doors including rolling steel fire and sectional doors
- check_circleService and repair loading dock equipment such as levelers, restraints, and lifts
- check_circleInstall and maintain specialty products including gate operators, security bollards, and access control systems
- check_circlePerform routine preventative maintenance to reduce client downtime and increase operational efficiency
- check_circleCommunicate professionally with clients on-site to explain repairs and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- verified3+ years field experience installing/repairing commercial overhead doors or loading dock equipment
- verifiedStrong mechanical aptitude
- verifiedAbility to troubleshoot electrical components, motors, and low-voltage access controls
- verifiedValid driver's license with clean driving record
- verifiedWelding experience or IDEA Certification (preferred)
- verifiedComfortable lifting heavy equipment
- verifiedComfortable working at heights
