About the Role

As a Commercial Banking Officer, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business clients, providing a full range of commercial banking services. This role is designed for an experienced professional who thrives on developing new business, cultivating client relationships, and managing a robust portfolio of commercial loans. You will be responsible for underwriting, structuring, and closing loans that meet established lending requirements while minimizing risk.

In this position, you will act as a proactive partner to your clients, analyzing their business resources, industry dynamics, and financial strategies to recommend solutions that align with their needs and the Bank's credit culture. Your day-to-day involves evaluating loan requests, negotiating terms, and ensuring ongoing compliance with bank policies and government regulations. You will also play a key role in fostering partnerships across all lines of business to create a seamless referral process.

Depending on your level of experience, you may also have the opportunity to develop, train, and coach less experienced bankers to help achieve the Bank's loan goals. This is a fully on-site role based in our Commercial Banking Center in Vancouver, WA, where you will represent the Bank in the local community through active participation in charitable, business, and social activities.
