About the Role
Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Electronic Technician VI to support the U.S. Navy's Combat Systems Satellite Communications (SATCOM) operations in Mayport, FL. In this capacity, you will serve as a critical technical resource for troubleshooting, repairing, assessing, and testing shipboard SATCOM equipment and systems.
Your work ensures that mechanical, electrical, and electronic Combat Systems return to full operational condition. You will provide technical assistance for fleet system casualties, performing problem analysis, isolation, and correction in accordance with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFFM). Beyond immediate repairs, you will conduct operational assessments during key readiness events such as TSRAs, Ballistic Missile Defense Readiness Assessments (BMDRAs), INSURVs, and pre-deployment evaluations.
The role also encompasses integrated logistics support. You will perform audits and reviews to determine the adequacy of logistics support, recommending corrective actions for technical documentation, tools, and repair parts to align with fleet schedules. This position requires a blend of office and shipboard work, often involving confined spaces, secure areas, and elevated work locations. The environment may require physical activities such as bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing, as well as adaptability to varying temperatures and shipboard conditions.
