Our comprehensive internship program is designed to take place at one of our stunning resort locations, offering 3- or 6-month durations. This experience is built around core pillars of professional growth and immersion. You will gain in-person, on-site work experience within a designated department while receiving personalized guidance and support from experienced property leaders to help shape your career path.
Beyond daily operations, the program includes exclusive sessions with senior company executives to gain strategic insights and leadership perspectives. You will spend a day shadowing a different department to broaden your understanding of resort operations and conduct two interviews with senior leaders to learn about their career journeys. The role encourages you to collaborate on a meaningful project that fosters creativity and contributes to business innovation. Additionally, you will join interactive online sessions for exposure to various areas of the MVW business and connect with fellow interns through our dedicated social media platform.
Interns will immerse themselves in the critical components of resort operations. Depending on the specific department, you may learn and apply brand-standard welcoming techniques to deliver an exceptional guest experience at the Front Office, or develop skills in villa cleaning and core tasks to ensure guest accommodations meet brand standards in Housekeeping. In Recreation/Activities, you will promote fun resort activities to guests of all ages, lead events like trivia and pool games, and help execute special events such as food tastings.
This is a fully on-site internship at a designated Marriott Vacations Worldwide resort location. Interns must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role may require physical activities such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, as well as the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
There is no deadline to submit an application, as we accept applications on an ongoing basis. Fall internships typically run from September to December, though timelines may vary depending on the needs of the company. Housing accommodations and relocation are the student's responsibility.
