Based in Slidell, LA, the Co-Manager serves as a vital partner to the Unit Manager, sharing the responsibility for the daily operations of the store. This role is designed to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction by ensuring the seamless execution of sales, quality, service, and cleanliness standards. The Co-Manager acts as a leader on the floor, directly influencing the hiring, training, and development of the crew to foster a motivated and high-performing team.
Your day is defined by active leadership and operational excellence. You will spend significant time on the floor monitoring product quality, managing crew performance, and engaging directly with customers to ensure their needs are met promptly. From tracking waste levels and managing food costs to executing the store's sales and profit plans, you are the driving force behind the store's efficiency.
You will also be responsible for the full lifecycle of crew development, from conducting interviews and training new hires to mentoring those interested in leadership positions. Whether you are writing schedules, managing shift priorities, or ensuring strict adherence to safety and security protocols, your goal is to maintain a Q.S.C. (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) level of 80% or better while creating an atmosphere that fosters teamwork.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid driver's license and be physically capable of performing all restaurant operations positions. This includes standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in both hot and cold environments. A college degree or equivalent experience in operations, combined with at least one year of line operations experience in the restaurant industry, is required. Familiarity with Wendy's operating systems, policies, and supervisory practices is essential.
