About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a manufacturing facility in Longwood, FL. In this role, you will be the backbone of our production process, operating a variety of machining equipment including drill presses, CNC machines, precision tools, and lathes to fabricate essential parts and tools.
Your day will involve a blend of technical precision and hands-on problem-solving. You will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment such as Vertical Turret Lathes, Horizontal Boring Mills, and Engine Lathes. A key part of your workflow includes measuring finished workpieces to ensure strict conformance to specifications using precision instruments, and adjusting machine feeds, speeds, or programming to correct errors or address issues like dull tools and excessive vibration.\n This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will utilize general bench skills for assembly and disassembly, safely move materials using hoists or cranes, and troubleshoot non-standardized situations with practical problem-solving abilities. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
