About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Tucson. In this role, you will be the backbone of our production floor, operating CNC machines to meet critical production requirements while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
You will not only manage your own machining tasks but also oversee junior operators on various secondary operations, including sandblasting, tumbling, grinding, and sawing. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of technical precision and leadership, from studying blueprints and engineering plans to coordinating daily activities with the Team Lead. You will work closely with the quality team to ensure all in-process checks are completed timely and that every product meets strict drawing specifications.
Beyond the machine, you will play a key role in maintaining production warehouse inventory through accurate reporting of materials, waste, and scrap. You will support the ISO program, enforce safety policies to ensure a hazard-free environment, and drive productivity improvements by eliminating wasteful practices. The ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment is essential as you support priority changes through quick program and tool adjustments.
