About the Role
We are seeking CMT Technicians to join our team on large, multi-year projects. You will become part of a seasoned, highly qualified group performing geotechnical and materials engineering, Construction Materials Testing (CMT), and construction inspections on complex, transformational infrastructure projects in the region. Notable projects in West Texas include the Children's Museum ("La Nube"), I-10 Widening, Transmountain, Border Expressway, and Starlight Event Center.
In this role, you will support advanced manufacturing, mission-critical, DOT, and federal projects. Our team is dedicated to creating leaders within the community, offering extensive training and continuous guidance to help you develop professionally. Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform construction-related field tests as directed by management
- check_circleEnter daily field observation reports and summary reports electronically
- check_circleAssist other technicians and professional staff on various tasks
- check_circleFollow all Atlas safety plans, programs, policies, and procedures
- check_circleRelay project information to managers and engineers with limited in-field decision making
- check_circleExecute field density testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials
- check_circleTransport equipment, test specimens, and documents to field personnel and laboratories
- check_circleConduct field quality control tests on in-place concrete
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- verified2+ years Construction or CMT experience
- verifiedTXDOT or ACI certifications
- verifiedOSHA 10 certification
Nice to Have
2+ years of Construction or CMT experience. TXDOT or ACI certifications. OSHA 10 certification.
