About the Role
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is designed for those who want to take on increasing responsibilities as they develop their skills. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating field operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while meeting quality standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage all phases of electrical construction projects from planning to closeout
- check_circleDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- check_circleCoordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams
- check_circleReview drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure scope compliance
- check_circleProcure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- check_circleOversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- check_circleEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC codes, and company safety policies
- check_circleLead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- check_circleSupport field leadership to resolve technical, schedule, or labor challenges
- check_circleEnsure timely project closeout including asbuilts, O&M manuals, and final billing
Requirements
- verified1+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects
- verifiedAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- verifiedEngineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification or actively working towards obtaining it
Nice to Have
1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or design. Familiarity with cloud point data and 3D scanning technologies. Knowledge of fabrication processes and the ability to create precise drawing packages. Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Possession of an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification or actively working towards obtaining it.
