About the Team

The Sponsor's Digital Support Modernization office serves as a critical hub for quality Enterprise IT collaborations and integration across various IT programs. This multi-faceted team interfaces with several IT Executive programs to support strategic priorities, delivering a wide range of capabilities across human resources, finances, acquisitions, medical, security, travel, supply chain, facilities, and support integration.

About the Role

This position sits at the intersection of program management, financial oversight, and technical strategy. You will act as a bridge between the Sponsor's executive leadership and the broader IT ecosystem, ensuring that complex modernization initiatives align with high-level strategic goals. The role involves developing and maintaining IT roadmaps, tracking program risks, and managing spending plans for large-scale IT programs.

In this capacity, you will lead Agile Scrum and Project Management processes while adhering to the Sponsor's enterprise implementation standards. Your day-to-day will include facilitating forums and working groups, documenting action items, and delivering monthly financial and progress status reports within the first 10 days of each month. You will also be responsible for creating communications plans that help IT teams and stakeholders understand implementation phases and future directions, as well as leveraging multi-cloud infrastructure to drive innovation.

Beyond management, the role requires active participation in technical and architectural discussions with network engineering teams. You will support the implementation of network infrastructure for data transfer between domains, monitor audit logs for security compliance, and maintain accreditation status for designated systems. This position demands a blend of strategic planning and hands-on technical support to ensure the security and operational continuity of new and existing program systems.

Hiring Process
