We are seeking a Cloud Data Developer/Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms that power enterprise analytics and data-driven initiatives. This role is critical for delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing data solutions that support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to architect technology solutions aligned with strategic requirements. Your day-to-day involves building robust data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery, while implementing CI/CD processes and orchestration workflows. You will also play a vital role in managing projects through their full lifecycle—from planning and design to testing, deployment, and production support.
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The role is based in Nutley, NJ, operating on a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). You will work full-time alongside cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, security, and platform optimization initiatives are successfully executed.

Experience with life sciences data formats such as DICOM, FASTQ/BAM/PLINK, or SAS7BDAT. Experience with Databricks administration, Unity Catalog, performance optimization, and data governance tools such as Immuta. Familiarity with Tableau, SAS, R/Posit, machine learning frameworks, and Kubernetes/EKS. AWS and/or Databricks certifications and knowledge of Computer System Validation (GxP/Non-GxP) environments.
