This role is a critical component of the ENACT Modernization initiative, focused on evolving the organization's cloud computing strategy. The team is seeking "true" cloud architects rather than hands-on engineers. The primary objective is to devise multi-cloud architectures and strategies that align with business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency across public, private, and hybrid environments.
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing the applications, services, and infrastructure of a cloud-based system. Your expertise will guide the company's cloud adoption plans, application design, and management. You will oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to secure cloud computing systems, ensuring that infrastructure aligns with business objectives.
A key part of this position involves communicating effectively with cloud providers and third parties involved in the program. You will provide guidance on infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers, and create standard operating procedures for data transfer and storage while adhering to industry best practices.
