About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Closer/Funder to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for dealers, brokers, borrowers, underwriters, insurance agents, and lenders. Your primary mission is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of incoming loan packages from document preparation through to final funding.

You will work closely with underwriters to verify and clear all necessary conditions, ensuring every file meets the end lender's parameters before submission. The day-to-day involves monitoring loan document requests, coordinating with escrow agents for additional items, and verifying critical data points such as home addresses across appraisals, titles, and tracking systems. You will also manage the ordering of flood and tax certificates and new home appraisals from third-party vendors.

As a key member of the team, you will maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures while managing multiple files under pressure. Success in this position requires the ability to multitask in a high-stress environment, maintain a positive attitude, and carry out assignments independently within established routines. You will be responsible for correcting files and accounting for redirected loans, ensuring a seamless workflow from initial request to final signature.
