About the Role
ATEC is advancing spine surgery technologies through rigorous scientific inquiry and clinical evidence generation. This role serves as a critical bridge between clinical research and product value, ensuring that our implant, biologics, and surgical procedure portfolios are supported by robust data and clear scientific communication.
In this position, you will lead the design and execution of clinical research protocols, managing complex datasets from study initiation through analysis. You will translate statistical findings into compelling technical documentation and scientific communications that demonstrate clinical impact to both internal stakeholders and external audiences. By partnering with Marketing, Regulatory, and R&D teams, you will identify evidence gaps and align research initiatives with broader business objectives.
A key component of this role involves cultivating relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to foster clinician collaboration and drive credibility for ATEC's products. You will work cross-functionally to organize large-scale data, ensuring accuracy and traceability, while contributing to the dissemination of findings through conference presentations, manuscripts, and training collateral.

Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of Bachelors' degree in a field of science or engineering
- verifiedMS or PhD preferred
- verifiedAt least 2 years of medical device experience
- verifiedKnowledge of ICH/GCP, US CFR, Nuremberg Code, Belmont Report, Declaration of Helsinki
- verifiedProficiency in conducting literature searches
- verifiedStrong understanding of clinical research and statistical/analytical methods
- verifiedStrong technical writing skills
- verifiedFamiliarity with EDC, EMR, data analysis, and data visualization
- verifiedExperience in technical writing and peer-reviewed literature publishing
Nice to Have
MS or PhD degree. Experience in the spine industry. Knowledge of orthopedics research, particularly spine. Familiarity with electronic data capture systems (EDC, EMR), data analysis, and data visualization.
