As a leading global aesthetics business, our award-winning portfolio of injectables, devices, and skincare products empowers healthcare professionals to enhance confidence through aesthetic medicine. Live your best life with Merz Aesthetics.
The Clinical Scientist serves as a key strategic partner within the Merz Aesthetics Research and Development team. This role exists to bridge the gap between scientific inquiry and regulatory reality, ensuring the successful registration of new aesthetic products and novel indications. You will be the scientific anchor for global clinical programs, working alongside cross-functional study teams to design, execute, and interpret complex clinical trials.
In this position, you will navigate the full lifecycle of clinical development, from early-phase preclinical data curation to post-marketing studies. Your day-to-day involves translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior management and external stakeholders. You will author critical regulatory documents, manage external medical writing vendors, and drive the scientific narrative behind our products. This is a role for a highly motivated leader who thrives in a collaborative, international environment and is passionate about advancing the field of aesthetic medicine.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a structured interview process designed to assess both scientific acumen and cultural fit. While specific steps may vary, the process typically includes an initial screening to discuss background and experience, followed by technical interviews focusing on clinical trial design and regulatory strategy. Final rounds often involve presentations or case studies to demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and alignment with Merz's mission.
Merz is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. We believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation and better serve our global community.
