Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters. At Mercy, you'll help shape the future of healthcare through innovation, technology, and compassion. As we grow, you'll grow with us. From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans.
The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) serves as a vital coordinator for research studies conducted by Mercy Research. This role goes beyond standard nursing duties, focusing on the day-to-day operational management of clinical trials. You will be the bridge between the research team, patients, and external partners, managing volunteer recruitment, inventory maintenance, and complex data analysis while strictly adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.
In this position, you will interact daily with physicians, nurses, office staff, patients, and clinical monitors. A key aspect of the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and Contract Research Organizations (CROs). As the study load and complexity increase compared to an Associate Clinical Research Nurse, you will take on a higher volume of enrollments and visits. Additionally, you will play a mentorship role, assisting in the training and preceptorship of others.
All duties are performed in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards, ensuring that patient care and research integrity remain at the forefront of every interaction.
