Advance AbbVie's pipeline by striving for excellence in clinical research, turning science into medicine for our patients. We leverage new advanced capabilities to drive industry-leading performance, ensuring that every trial contributes to meaningful patient outcomes.
This position serves as the primary point of contact for investigative sites, fostering meaningful and effective engagements that position AbbVie as the choice in clinical trials. You will partner closely with investigators and site staff to ensure the appropriate conduct of trials while driving improvements in data integrity, compliance, overall study performance, and the customer experience.
Your day-to-day involves aligning, training, and motivating site staff and principal investigators on the goals of the clinical trial program, protocol, and patient treatment principles to build a trusted partnership. You will customize site engagement strategies using local insights and tools like our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track progress and measure impact. By connecting study protocols and scientific principles to day-to-day execution, you will evaluate and ensure effective recruitment and retention techniques based on the patient disease journey.
Beyond execution, you will mentor less experienced Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), participate in global or local task forces, and conduct continuous risk assessments in collaboration with the Central Monitoring team. Your critical thinking will be essential to resolve site risk signals, ensuring preventative and corrective action plans are implemented to mitigate risk and promote compliance through a customer-centric approach.
Candidates selected for this role will be invited to participate in a series of interviews designed to assess technical competency, cultural fit, and strategic thinking. The process typically includes an initial screening, followed by in-depth discussions with hiring managers and team members, and may involve scenario-based assessments related to site management and risk mitigation.
AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment. We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.
