The Clinical Research Assistant supports the Bon Secours Cancer Institute team, including Principal Investigators, nurses, and coordinators, by managing the financial and administrative tasks essential for a functioning research operation. Working under the guidance of Clinical Research Nurse Coordinators and the Practice Administrator, this role ensures the integrity of the research workflow at Memorial Regional Medical Center.
In this position, you will be the operational backbone of the clinical research team. Your day involves enrolling patients into studies, managing complex billing workflows to distinguish between insurance and research study charges, and maintaining rigorous regulatory documentation. You will serve as a key liaison between the research team, sponsors, and patients, ensuring that data collection, safety reporting, and audit preparations are handled with precision and care.
