About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide essential mental health services within a correctional facility setting. This role is critical for maintaining the well-being of the inmate population while ensuring strict compliance with correctional healthcare standards and California regulations.
In this position, you will serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Your day-to-day involves conducting psychological assessments, managing crisis interventions, and delivering therapeutic services ranging from individual therapy to group psychotherapy. You will work closely with custody staff, healthcare teams, and supervisors to support inmates through mental health education, resource navigation, and discharge planning.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess an active and valid Psychologist License and BLS Certification. Applications will be reviewed based on a minimum of 12 months of continuous experience within the last three years in a public or private institutional setting, with a scope similar to the duties outlined in this posting.
