About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic Pharmacy team in Virginia Beach, VA. This role plays a vital part in ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and multidisciplinary teams to support medication management, provide patient education, and contribute to clinical decision-making to improve patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of current pharmacotherapeutic principles, medical terminology, disease state and population management, and age-appropriate therapy. Experience with online pharmacy adjudication systems is required for this position.
Who We Welcome
We welcome applications from newly graduated pharmacists and pharmacists not currently licensed in Virginia due to relocation. Candidates not currently licensed in Virginia must obtain Virginia licensure within 90 days of their Sentara start date. Advanced certification in HIV, oncology, infectious disease, or ambulatory care is preferred.
