About the Team
Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, NE, is a critical access hospital dedicated to making a direct impact on the local community. We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team, where you will work within a collaborative and supportive environment alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
About the Role
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services across all hospital services and departments, ensuring optimal patient care and safety. Working closely with the Pharmacy Director, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, uphold the highest standards of practice, and ensure compliance with Nebraska DHHS Pharmacy Statutes.
Your day will involve managing day-to-day pharmacy activities, providing medication counseling, drug therapy management, and patient education. You will play a key role in formulary management, contributing to cost-effective medication utilization while maintaining accurate records in accordance with regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute your expertise to a multi-disciplinary team focused on exceptional patient care.
Location and Schedule
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) located onsite at Cherry County Hospital in Valentine, NE. The schedule consists of either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, with some call responsibilities included.

Requirements
