Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling for a team of registered dietitians
- check_circleComplete nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for inpatient and outpatient care
- check_circleManage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
- check_circleAttend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance
- check_circleProvide education to patients, families, nursing staff, and facility staff on nutritional needs
- check_circleCommunicate with physicians and clinical staff regarding patients' nutritional status
- check_circleProvide leadership to foster a team environment focused on morale, quality, and respect
- check_circleManage clinical QAPI projects and plans while collaborating with other departments to achieve goals
- check_circleDocument patient assessments, nutritional goals, and interventions in the medical record
Requirements
- verifiedRegistered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration
- verifiedLicensed dietitian as required per state regulations
- verifiedBachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field
