As a Clinical Associate on the U.S. Abbott EP team, you will provide clinical and technical support in hospital settings, utilizing EP technology to treat various cardiac arrhythmias. You will join a high-functioning, collaborative team, partnering closely with physicians and hospital staff to support the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms. This role involves exercising independent judgment in planning and performing day-to-day tasks while identifying and executing the most effective business practices.
You will serve as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business, building and sustaining credible relationships with customers. Your work will include providing engineering, sales, education, and clinical support on the safe and effective use of Abbott EP products, including cardiac mapping, diagnostic, and therapy systems. You will also support sales representatives by facilitating training seminars, participating in clinical studies, troubleshooting, and leading new product demonstrations.
This role offers a structured training program with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and practical application to gain foundational knowledge of EP. You will provide regional EP procedural case coverage in Electrophysiology labs and operating rooms. The position requires occasional travel for in-person instruction and live procedure coverage, allowing you to stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and market trends. You will continuously develop your engineering, sales, and technical skills while providing management with feedback on customer insights to guide next-generation product development.
