The Clinical Administrator serves as the operational and clinical leader for two SSC Beverly Hills locations on Wilshire Blvd. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless administration and supervision of all surgical center personnel, acting as the primary liaison between the Regional VP of Operations and the clinical staff.
The position exists to foster a culture of cooperative staff effort while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and fiscal responsibility. As the Risk Manager Designee, the Clinical Administrator interprets departmental philosophy and policies, ensuring that every aspect of the ambulatory surgical center—from the O.R. suite to supply coordination—functions with precision and compliance.
Your day involves a dynamic blend of leadership, oversight, and direct engagement with the surgical team. You will delegate responsibilities to professional and ancillary personnel, ensuring equitable staff assignments based on competency and patient needs. A significant portion of your time is dedicated to monitoring the service environment, including daily surveillance of safety issues, infection control programs, and equipment inspections.
You will actively participate in weekly nursing and clinical staff meetings, evaluating orientation programs for new hires and addressing educational needs. By reviewing monthly performance improvement activities and radiation detection reports, you will drive continuous quality enhancement. Additionally, you will manage the allocation of resources, coordinate with the Director of Supply, and enforce compliance with nursing standards and organizational policies, providing counseling and disciplinary measures when necessary to maintain operational excellence.
