About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our Nutrition Therapy team at the UCHealth Leprino Building in Aurora, Colorado. This position serves as a PRN Clinical Dietitian specifically for the Solid Organ Transplant team, which services liver, kidney, heart, and lung patients.

This role offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have transplant experience in an acute care setting and a desire to expand their skills into other areas. You will provide coverage for the Transplant Nutrition team on comp days and PTO days, comfortably flexing between inpatient and outpatient settings. There is also potential to cover general inpatient needs to increase desired work hours.

As a Clinical Dietitian practicing nutrition therapy, you will work within an interprofessional healthcare team. You will assess patient nutritional status, derive nutrition diagnoses, and develop evidence-based interventions and plans of care. Your day will involve monitoring patient progress, evaluating outcomes, and participating in departmental initiatives. You may also conduct education programs for patients, physicians, nurses, and other team members, and function as a preceptor to support the academic enterprise.

Schedule and Work Model

This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote options. The schedule features flex hours Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend coverage required once training is completed. The position is currently listed as PRN (0.00 hours per pay period), though opportunities exist to increase hours.
