About the Role
We are seeking a Clinic Assistant to join our Neurology Team at the Columbia Tech Center. Please note that this is not a clinical position; the successful candidate will focus entirely on performing clerical and administrative tasks that are critical to supporting the clinical team and ensuring excellent patient care.
In this role, you will serve as a primary contact for incoming calls and the Patient Service Center. Your day will involve managing patient records, processing paperwork for FMLA, ADA, and Workers' Compensation, and handling urgent referrals and prior authorizations. You will also support the team by scheduling appointments, managing non-pharmaceutical supplies, and responding to information requests from third parties such as attorneys and claims managers.
Consistent, dependable, and predictable attendance is crucial to fulfilling our mission. Frequent deviations can make it difficult to provide care for our patients and support our coworkers, so we require all employees to adhere strictly to our attendance standards.

Candidates must have at least one year of work experience in a healthcare environment. Offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a background screen and immunization requirements. Vancouver Clinic is an alcohol and drug-free workplace.
