The Client Stabilization Specialist is a shelter or temporary lodging site-based position focused on working with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that those entering our facilities are stabilized. You will serve as a vital link in our "no wrong door" treatment approach, helping to dramatically improve the quality of life for our patients.
In this role, you will conduct intakes into the HMIS, provide education on rules and responsibilities, and offer overall orientation. Your day will involve face-to-face visits, perimeter walks, and the escalation of issues impacting stabilization. You will communicate with leadership and Client Care Coordinators regarding program violations and identify needs for complex substance use, mental health, housing, and medical care to ensure proper coordination of services. Additionally, you will be responsible for data entry, including violations, end-of-shift notes, and room checks, as well as identifying the need for housing prioritization assessments.

1-3 years of full-time health care related work experience where prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations. Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures.
Skills: Hmis, Behavioral Health Technician, Cbi Peer Certification, Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
