This part-time position serves as a Classroom Aide for Veterinary Assistant students, operating Monday through Friday mornings. The role is designed to support Primary and Secondary Instructors by facilitating a productive learning environment without delivering primary instruction or proficiency completion.
As a Classroom Aide, you will act as a vital resource for students, providing tutoring in individual and group sessions and proctoring exams for nursing students. You will work under the direct supervision of the Associate Director, collaborating closely with full-time faculty to ensure students receive the necessary academic support and remediation.
Your day will involve a mix of classroom preparation and direct student interaction. You will assist with setting up labs, managing classroom technology, and facilitating hands-on activities. Beyond the classroom, you will provide scheduled tutoring, assist with orientation prep, and help maintain the cleanliness and restocking of the learning space. All duties are performed on campus, requiring the ability to move freely to support student needs and maintain a fast-paced environment.
Classroom Aides are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with Ross Guidelines.
