About the Role

As a Class C Truck Driver (Furniture Driver Helper) based in Orlando, FL, you will be a crucial member of our team responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods between destinations. This position is designed for individuals with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a spotless safety record who are committed to exceptional customer service.

Your day-to-day involves operating a Class B commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations. You will plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws. A significant part of your role includes safely loading, securing, and unloading household goods into customer homes, ensuring proper handling and care throughout the process. You will also maintain accurate records of mileage and hours of service, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and collaborate with dispatch to optimize operational efficiency.

This role requires the ability to travel with overnight stays and flexibility to work varied hours and extended shifts when necessary. You will serve as the face of New World Van Lines, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
