Class A Team Owner Operator, OTR, Dry Van

About the Job

This opportunity is designed for Owner Operators working in a team configuration on dedicated Over-The-Road (OTR) routes. The role focuses on hauling dry van freight with loads ranging from 5,000 to 40,000 pounds, with approximately 50% of loads weighing 25,000 pounds or less. Teams can expect an average of 4,500 to 6,000 miles per week.

Compensation and Benefits

Teams are paid weekly with a gross total average pay of $9,000 to $13,000. The position includes a paid fuel surcharge and offers a free base plate program. There is no requirement for drivers to handle loading or unloading of freight.

Home Time

Drivers can expect to be out for 5 to 14 days at a time, though staying out longer is an option. The schedule ensures that teams are home at least one weekend per month.

Equipment and Requirements

To qualify, drivers must hold a Class A license without restrictions for Air Brakes, Night Driving, Semi Trailers, or Intrastate Only operation. Candidates must have at least two years of Tractor Trailer experience. The truck used must be no older than 15 years.

Orientation and Support

The company offers a paid orientation program where accommodation is fully covered. Drivers are provided with their own room during orientation, and all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included. Additionally, the program covers some or all travel expenses to get drivers to the starting location.
