Class A Owner Operator, OTR, Dry Van

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Owner Operators to join our team for dedicated Over-The-Road (OTR) Dry Van routes. This position offers a stable partnership where you can leverage your driving skills on loads ranging from 5,000 to 40,000 pounds, with 50% of loads weighing 25,000 pounds or less. The role is designed for drivers who prefer consistent routes without the need for load or unload duties, allowing you to focus on the road.

Compensation and Benefits

Drivers can expect a gross average weekly pay between $5,000 and $7,500, paid weekly. The average mileage is between 2,500 and 3,000 miles per week. We offer a paid fuel surcharge and provide a free base plate program. A lease purchase program is also available for those interested in ownership transitions.

Home Time and Schedule

Our dedicated routes typically keep drivers out for 5 to 14 days at a time. While this is the expected duration, drivers have the flexibility to stay out longer if they choose. A key benefit of this position is the commitment to home time, ensuring drivers are home for at least one weekend per month.

Equipment and Requirements

To qualify, candidates must hold a valid Class A license without restrictions for Air Brakes (L, Z), Night Driving (G), No Semi Trailer (O), or Intrastate Only (K). Additionally, applicants must have at least two years of Tractor Trailer experience. The maximum truck age allowed for this program is 15 years.

Orientation and Onboarding

We offer a comprehensive paid orientation program to ensure a smooth transition. During this period, accommodation is covered with drivers provided their own room. Meals, including lunch, dinner, and breakfast, are included, and the program covers some or all travel expenses.
