About the Role
This position is for an Owner Operator driving Dry Van loads on Over-The-Road (OTR) routes. The role offers a dedicated schedule with an average of 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week. Loads typically range from 5,000 to 40,000 pounds, with 50% of loads weighing 25,000 pounds or less. Drivers are not required to load or unload freight.
Compensation and Benefits
Drivers can expect a gross total weekly average pay between $5,000 and $7,500, paid weekly. The program includes a paid fuel surcharge and offers a free base plate program. A lease purchase program is also available for eligible drivers.
Home Time
The typical schedule involves being out for 5 to 14 days, though drivers may choose to stay out longer. The schedule ensures drivers are home at least one weekend per month.
Equipment and Requirements
To qualify, drivers must hold a Class A license without restrictions for Air Brakes, Night Driving, No Semi Trailer, or Intrastate Only. Additionally, candidates must have at least two years of Tractor Trailer experience. The truck used must be no older than 15 years.
Orientation and Onboarding
We offer a paid orientation program to get you started. During this period, accommodation is covered with drivers receiving their own room. Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included, and the company covers some or all travel expenses.
