About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Class A Company Driver to join our local car carrier team. This is a solo, W2 position focused on transporting vehicles within the region. Drivers can expect an average weekly mileage between 500 and 1,000 miles, with a total average weekly pay ranging from $1,100 to $1,300. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
The role operates on a day shift schedule with a consistent 5 days on, 2 days off rotation, guaranteeing home time every weekend. A key feature of this position is that drivers are responsible for 100% of the loading and unloading duties. While the primary focus is local dedicated runs, the policy for taking the truck home is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Hiring Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a valid Class A license without specific restrictions, including (E) No Manual, (L/Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, or (K) Intrastate Only. Additionally, applicants must have at least two years of tractor-trailer experience.
