About the Role
Bison USA is dedicated to helping new drivers build a strong future in the trucking industry, starting from day one. This position is specifically designed for CDL-A recent graduates who have completed their schooling within the last 90 days and are ready to launch their Over-The-Road (OTR) careers. The role offers a clear path from paid training to your first solo load, ensuring you have support every mile of the way.
As a new driver with Bison, you will operate late-model van and reefer trailers, handling 98% no-touch freight. You can expect steady OTR miles (2,000–2,500 weekly) with a schedule that typically keeps you home 2–3 days every 2–3 weeks. The company emphasizes career growth, offering assigned trucks after training and opportunities to advance within the organization.
The Training Experience
We believe in investing in our drivers. Upon joining, you will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to get you on the road safely and efficiently. This includes 3 days of orientation, 5 days of classroom and terminal training, and 4 weeks of in-cab paid training with an experienced mentor. A fast-track option is available for qualified candidates, reducing in-cab training to 2 weeks based on evaluation. Upon successful completion, you will receive your own truck and head home.
