About the Role
As a Class A CDL Driver on our regional routes, you will haul freight for Amazon using brand new Sleeper Cabs (both CNG and Diesel) equipped with state-of-the-art safety technology and logistics software. All deliveries are drop and hook, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
You will work a consistent 4-day on, 4-days-off schedule. Your typical block involves regional routes averaging 1,000 to 1,200 miles, with a routine of spending one night resetting on the road, one night resetting at home, another night on the road, followed by four consecutive days off. Block start times are available in both the morning and evenings. The role offers full-time employment averaging 45-55 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime during peak months in November and December.
Hiring Process
To join our team, you must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 6 months of verifiable Class A driving experience. The selection process includes a DOT physical, drug test, and background check. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English with yard teams and guard shacks, as well as proficiency in using handheld technology, GPS-enabled software, and smartphone applications provided by Amazon.
